How can I decide which espresso machine to buy?
I’m actually asking for my wife who drinks iced cappuccinos every day. We bought a simple one as a starter, but she uses it every day and I think it’s time for an upgrade. I don’t know much, other than I need a water pump. The budget I had in mind was maybe 200-300 dollars.. plus a grinder..
Thanks

You can go to Amazon for a reference, you can look around some other places, but a real nice resource you can use is http://www.coffeegeek.com There is a ton of info about espresso machines….you could easily find a decent espresso machine that comes with a water pump for less than 200-300 dollars, and a decent grinder for about 100

The quality of the coffee depends on the coffee itself.
All priced espresso machines are just the same good, some costs more because of its aestetical design or size, or its interior is steel instead of aluminum.
You decide free among them by your budget for the needs of one person.
I have a $230 Hamilton Beach and a $45 MrCoffee
the outpour of the coffee is just similar from both.
