I've researched my pending espresso machine purchase to death and still can't decide.?

I could go up to 0 but is it worth it for me? I’ll have a couple of cappuccino’s a day so I won’t be using it much. I’m not a snob. A stainless steel model would be cool but not necessary. I’ve researched Breville at 0 (China), Briel 0 and I heard the basic Saeco Via Venetto 0 is just fine. I may get an okay machine for under 0 and buy a better burr grinder. What do you think?

I use to sell espresso machines. Here’s the deal: there are 2 kinds of machines…Steam driven or Pump driven.

You can purchase a less expensive steam driven that produces more of a coffee than an espresso OR you can purchase a more expensive machine that is pump driven which will produce more of a true espresso.

I say since you are buying it just to have a couple of cappuccino’s a day and your not purchasing it because you will be making drinks all day long then go with a pump driven lesser expensive model and grap that burr grinder. I love my burr grinder (one of the best investment’s I’ve made).

    Hope this helps.

I have a Brun for $100 and it works just great. As long as you get one with a pump, then the rest doesn’t matter… and I only paid about $30 for my grinder.
